Prayer

Prayer doesn't change God. It changes us. We believe strongly in a church that is prayerful and prayer-filled. We pray not only to get what we need in our current situation, but pray because God delights in them.

  • Lifestyle prayer

Romans 12:12 " Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful to prayer."

Prior to the start of every service we meet to pray. We are currently developing a prayer team. We would love for you to join us and to pray with us.

  • lord's Prayer

The disciples asked, "Lord, teach us to pray."  Jesus gives us this pattern for prayer. When we begin to understand it fully it reveals to us many wonderful aspects about prayer. While we are not a church of tradition, we know that there is power in unity. So we pray as Jesus has taught us to pray.

  • Spiritual warfare

We believe that "we wrestle not with flesh & blood."  Part of the strategy of the enemy is to convince you that he does not exist. Because we know the enemy has a strategy, we have those who want to teach others in the art of spiritual warfare. So in addition to our pre-service prayer times, once or more per week, we come together to pray over the requests.
